This is the reason I actually wanted to test out Sheer SEO. While I do use SEO Powersuite’s Rank Tracker on a daily basis, I wanted to find an online rank tracker. As I start to travel more I saw the need to have one I can easily log in to when I was away. But, I did not want to spend a ton of money either.

The backlinks feature showcases all the websites that link to yours. There is the option to filter bu lost links, toxic links, active links, or even see competitor links.
For my test website it returned 332 referring domains with a total of 2,044 backlinks.
The metrics that are shown in the table include:
- URL linking to your website
- Page URL is linking to
- Citation flow of URL linking to your website
- Trust flow of URL linking to your website
- Anchor text of the link
- Dofollow or nofollow
- Citation flow boost – which is a calculation of how much the link is helping you
- First seen date
